A new concept for me who visited Marconia. Wide choice of meats and local specialities, from the refrigerated counter, through the grill to the table!
I enjoyed a good slice of black Angus with mushrooms and chopped pistachios. Followed by various types of skewers including caramelized onion, crusco pepper, speck and rocket. A good place to eat good meat.
I went to this restaurant alone for a quick dinner. Unfortunately I noticed the pricing policy based on "who you are in front of". He weighs the meat, not showing the price or weight clearly to the customer, as well as not displaying the prices. Already here I had to understand that there was something wrong.... result? At the end of the evening for a measly appetizer (baked potatoes), pork (about 350 grams), water and a sweet he asked me 41.50. Upon my explanation he was unable to tell me anything about the price of the meat or the actual weight.
We arrive on site around 7.30pm asking if we could have dinner. The answer was yes, but we had to come back after 20 minutes as they had to finish the takeaway first (no comment! For the record, we remained sitting on the bench just outside the butcher's shop and only 2 people had takeaway) At 8pm we tried again and found out that we had to choose the meat from the display case (which enjoyed a somewhat questionable cleanliness). Too bad that there was no label indicating what type of meat it was, its origin and maturation!! The icing on the cake, the phone rings, the boy behind the counter doesn't even say "excuse me for a moment" and turns around and takes the phone and says hello! We understand that for many Lucanians (fortunately not all) tourists are not welcome. As for other businesses, we will send a nice email to the Basilicata APT!
They had told me not very well about this place. I happened upon it by chance on a Saturday evening, and from my experience I must say that the meat I ate (Sliced Angus) was really very good.
Impeccable quality and professionalism, the meat melts in your mouth. I really appreciated the open kitchenette, but above all that it is closed with windows so that the smoke from the embers does not reach it.
Central seat, possibility to sit both indoors and outdoors. Excellent quality of meat, amazing ice cream and truffles. Very friendly staff, fond of children. Fair prices. I recommend it
Excellent quality meat, perfect maturation...fiorentina for 90 days and scottona for 140 days...a butter!
Entrecote with porcini mushrooms...a real show!
